We met my college roommate (Melissa) and her son (Sam) at Columbiana Center Mall in Columbia. The kids enjoyed a ride on the carousel. Ella Jules was too little, she hung out with Daddy.

He's Back.....RW
This is the first year that Hannah Rae meets RW and will know what he's all about. We've been talking about him and they have been waiting anxiously until the day after Thanksgiving for him to arrive. During bedtime, I read them the story about RW and revealed him to them. They were so excited and could not wait to wake up in the morning to find him. It's going to be a fun month with RW around.

Star Wars In Concert
Star Wars in concert came to the Bi-Lo Center and I thought Cole and his Daddy would like it. I was wrong.......they LOVED it. I wish I was a fly on the wall watching the two nerds, I mean fans at the concert.
So here's how the day unfolded. Greg came home and picked up Cole right after he got home from school. Cole went back to work with his Daddy and they were going to go to dinner before the concert. I think he may have been just as excited to go to work with his Dad as going to the concert. He must have thought he was going to get paid also because he told me he was going to buy food and pay the bills with his money. We packed him some snacks for him to take to Daddy's office. By the time we finished, you would've thought he was leaving for a week.

Someone Help!
I was in the kitchen cooking dinner when I kept hearing, "someone help, someone help." I went to the playroom and this is what I saw.

Bumblebees
If you know me, then you know that I like my kids to match whenever possible. And Halloween is no different. Up to this year, I've been able to get Cole those cute little Halloween costumes with no complaints from him, just his Daddy. Now that he is older, he wants a say so in what costume he's going to wear. He's into "fighting" characters and superheroes. So, I let him choose who he wanted to be.......Bumblebee from Transformer is what he chose. So of course the girls had to be bumblebees.

Car Line
At our preschool we have the option of carline in the mornings. All throughout K3 I have never done it. Never even considered it. Well, this year was no different. For some reason, I like walking Cole in to his classroom. Even when it's cold, rainy or cold and rainy and toting all three kids. Sometimes it probably makes more sense to do the carline but bottom line, it never crossed my mind to start. Forward to today......
And so there he went, walking into the preschool with all the other car line riders. As I sat watching him, he instantly grew up about 10 years. My once "Momma's boy" is so grown up and independent now. As me and the girls drove home, I cried all the way wondering where my little "baby boy" was. And I've come to realize he's grown up right before my eyes and soon he'll be five.......oh boy, this Momma is going to need some help when kindergarten rolls around.

Pumpkin Patch
We had to wake up a little earlier this morning to get Cole ready for his field trip to the pumpkin patch. I am a little sad I won't be joining him there this year, the baby is still too little to go out to the germ world.

Williams Brice
College football is great and Gamecock football is even greater. We try to take the kids to at least one home game a year. They love going to see Cocky in person and we love going to any Gamecock event we can. There's something about that atmosphere that gets us adults giddy. This time around, Ella Jules was too little to go into the stadium so Grandma graciously stayed outside and watched her so we could go enjoy the game.
The forecast kept predicting showers so we were prepared. We took out these ponchos for about two minutes for a little sprinkle and that was all it did. So thankful the weatherman was wrong because it turned out to be a beautiful day and even more beautiful because we beat those Kentucky Wildcats.
After all that tailgating, football watching and tailgating some more, these were some exhausted kids.
