I had these shirts made to tell Daddy our BIG news. Cole was so excited he had a secret to tell Daddy. It was hard but he was able to keep the secret and let Daddy find out by reading the shirts. We all are so excited, our little family is growing.....let the countdown begin.
From the moment I asked Cole what kind of party he wanted this year, it has always been a Batman party. I thought I could hold off one more year before these "boy" parties but Daddy insisted you are old enough to decide on your own. I tried to make it as cute as possible but there is only so much you can do for a Batman party. You really enjoyed your party and it made me so happy.
We share the same birthday.......60 year difference.
Oh my, I cannot believe Cole turns FOUR today. It seems like yesterday that we were stuck in a snowstorm at the hospital with him. At age four, he loves STAR WARS, “fighting” shows, and “fighting” people (i.e Batman, Superman, Ironman). He loves playing light sabers and video games with his Daddy. He makes up funny knock knock jokes to tell us. He has learned to write his full name. I think if he grows anymore, he will be taller than me before he enters Elementary School. But most of all, he loves his baby sister Hannah Rae and is the BEST big brother.
I sent cupcakes to Cole’s preschool class today for his birthday. He was so excited to celebrate with his preschool friends. I was so excited to make his cupcakes for him. Having a summer birthday, I never got to bring cupcakes to school, so it was a treat for me also. I picked Cole up and he had his birthday hat on that his teachers gave him.
For weeks now, I’ve been helping my brother plan a surprise 40th birthday party for my sister-in-law. After so many “stories”, I don’t know how we managed to pull it off, but we sure did. She had no clue and was totally surprised. That was the hardest catering job I’ve ever had to do. We basically shopped, decorated and cooked in a day while she was out of the house. But it was all worth it watching her reaction. Happy Birthday Barbara! We wish you many more!
Hannah Rae loves babydolls. She walks around the house carrying them, pretending to be a little Mommy. She can't even leave the house without bringing them with her. They must all sit in her lap in the carseat.
Back in July, I got one of the best gifts for my birthday.....Celine Dion concert tickets. This past Saturday night, my sister and I headed to the concert. We made a day out of it. We shopped at IKEA and had dinner before the concert. I'd have to say, that was the best concert I've been to. Then again, I am a HUGE Celine Dion fan.
