Big Girl Room

After removing General Grievous (Cole's masterpiece), priming the walls, painting the walls and assembling furniture, Hannah Rae's big girl room is complete. Now let's hope she likes it and will sleep in it.

A New Artist

While Hannah Rae took a nap today, Cole and I worked in her big girl room. I gave Cole a paintbrush and let him paint whatever he wanted to. He had so much fun. For those of you that can't see this masterpiece, it's General Grievous from Star Wars.

Pretty Bug

We got out the car and Cole called out to me to run over and look to see what he found. There lay this pretty bug in my landscaping. I am not fond of caterpillars but this one sure was pretty. He wanted to save it to bring to science class but I don't think it'll make it. We found a critter box and made him a little home.

Daddy's Birthday

On Daddy's birthday, the kids wanted to surprise him at his office. They wanted to go get balloons for him. They each got to pick out a balloon they thought he would like. I should have known his favorite was Superman and Dora. Cole was so excited to "sneak like a ninja" on Daddy. We then walked to lunch with him. Happy Birthday to the World's Greatest Daddy!

Star Wars Fanatics

These two boys loves some STAR WARS. Whenever they get together, they are either playing Star Wars toys or talking about Star Wars. They both are in to wearing Star Wars shirts. They each have their own collection but somehow don't have the same shirts. So they asked me and Aunt Barbara to buy them the same Star Wars shirt.
